Technical Service Consultant - Animal Nutrition (Job Number: 015651W-01)

Key responsibilities:

  • Provides internal and external technical support in the development and application of products, processing techniques, and resolution of problems in the area of Feed Enzymes and DFMs . The action will be done in the South Cone Region .

  • Interact with customers and end users to provide effective technical support (trouble shooting, technical data clarification, complaint handling and etc) for DuPont Animal Nutrition Unit.

  • Generate customized training material to different customers & end users focusing in their needs & application.

  • Initiate and lead new application/new project development according to business or customer needs.

  • Generate record and update products technical spec/data sheet for production/quality control.

PrimaryDuties :

  • Buildrelationships with key accounts and customers in the region to identifyand progress business opportunities and help Sales organization to achieverevenue budget and growth targets.

  • Builds and maintains existing andnew customer relationships and maximizes customer satisfaction as well ascustomer understanding. Creates a reliable network in the Animal Nutritionmarket segment across the region.

  • Participate on multi-disciplinaryteams, consisting of application, logistics, industrial management,production and marketing in order to optimize customer service. Buildsinternal networks within DuPont.

  • Resolve customerissues and define unmet needs

  • Visitcustomers on a routine basis supporting them technically

  • Participatein Customer´s Projects design and implementation

  • Prepare reports,presentations, quotes and correspondence.

  • Provide guidanceinternally as to customer’s strategy

  • Be an advocatefor customer inquiries within DuPont

  • Gathers and analyzes market andcompetitor information. Communicates within the team and applies to manageassigned accounts.

  • Provides qualitative and quantitativeinput for internal processes and projects

Operates as a challenger within the team, by leading by example. He/she is accountable for his/her actions and is familiar with risk assessments when looking at new challenges.


Qualifications andCandidate Profile:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Animal Science, Veterinarian, Agricultural or

other related business with sufficient knowledge and experience in feed is required

  • Mandatory experience in the Feed area.

  • Quick learner with analytical capabilities and work independently.

  • Good communication skill and open minded.

  • Diligence, self-motivation and strong teamwork skills.

  • Fluent in English, oral and writing. Desirable Spanish.

-Preferably with sales skills or adequate personality for future sales tasks

  • Networker / relationship minded

Willing to travel 70% of time
