Description

  1. The DBA Lead is responsible for the daily andlong-term strategic management of DB related tasks occurring within theorganization

  2. The DBA Lead is expected to Understand, manage& report SOX compliance rules and follow ‘Segregation of Duties (SoD) forthe Compliance and Quality during Audits.

  3. Responsible for Administration tasks like

  4. Usermanagement

  5. Scaling

  6. Performance Tuning

  7. Maintenance

  8. Monitoring

  9. Troubleshooting

  10. Backup

  11. Recovery.

  12. Coordinating and assisting the DBA Team.

  13. The DBA Lead is expected to create and maintainthe BCP as per organization needs.

  14. The DBA lead will be responsible of managing thedocumentations and also for communication within DuPont and the relatedparties.

  15. Providing assistance to the Applicationdevelopment team as and when needed to make sure the application runs withmaximum throughput.

  16. Preparing customized reports that gives 360degree view of all the DBA related tasks.

  17. Should have strong working knowledge on SQL andOracle.

  18. Individual will work closely with the Application,DBA and the support team in verifying the optimal functioning of the DB side ofthings.

  19. Stay abreast with the changing technologies andbusiness trends to enhance overall effectiveness

  • OracleCertified

Qualifications

  • B.E.or MCA

Experience

  • 10+Years of experience in Large scale Database management tasks.

  • Shouldhave experience of leading teams.
