Maintenance Planner/Scheduler (Job Number: 015535W-01)
Dupont's Wilmington Experimental Station is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler.
The Planner / Scheduler will coordinate all ESL Facilities shutdowns working directly with Maintenance P/S, Service to Operation P/S, Power Operations personnel, Contract Administrators, Building Managers, Life / Safety group, Facilities Engineers, Roof Access Coordinators, Program Managers, and Project management teams.
Coordinates all shutdowns working directly with sitepersonnel and proprietors of various utilities systems to safely performshutdowns. This includes verification that all necessary shutdown requestsare entered and communications are sent to all key building personnel.
ESL Facilities Organization resource for the planningand coordination of site major shutdowns. Verifies all requests have beenapproved and communicates to all with the tasks to be completed duringeach building utility shutdown. Includes all WASM safety procedures intoevery shutdown.
Develops master work list for site shutdowns workingwith Maintenance P/S, Service to Operation P/S, Power Operationspersonnel, Contract Administrators, Building Managers, Life / Safetygroup, Facilities Engineers, Roof Access Coordinators, Program Managers, andProject management teams.
Leads pre shutdown planning and scheduling meetingsaligned with work plans
Supports Facilities cost projects and capitalconstruction projects by:
Coordinating necessary shutdowns and ensuring resources are assigned to complete theshutdown in accordance with established schedule requirements
o Person requesting the shutdown is responsible for obtaining resources.
o Person requesting the shutdown is responsible for development and design.
o Person requesting the shutdown is responsible for serving as a Facilities resource or assigning someone to represent the person requesting the shutdown.
Demonstrated ability to act as ateam leader and influence others.
Demonstrated experience as aPlanner/Scheduler would be preferred
Demonstrated experience (3yrs) ina craft/maintenance field, in particular a research and developmentfacility
Demonstrated interpersonalskills, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to workwith individuals and teams of diverse backgrounds in a respectful andeffective manner.
Demonstrated ability to plan job logistics,organize work effectively coordinating multiple shutdown requests; skilled inmulti tasking.
Demonstrated ability to determinejob priorities, allocate resources to the highest priority assignments andadjust work schedules to meet changing needs
Demonstrated ability to keep allapprised of present and future shutdowns.
Demonstrated ability to read andinterpret drawings, DuPont engineering standards
Demonstrated ability to writeSOP’s, job plans, STA’s etc.
Demonstrated computer skills andthe ability to learn and become proficient in new software systems (Outlook,SharePoint, SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to developrelations and a willingness to help resolve issues
Minimum overtime may be required
Must work core hours and may needto be flexible to meet business needs
Some travel may be required inthe Wilmington Area to other FS&RE sites
A valid driver’s license isrequired.
