DuPont Corporate Accounting is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist with accounting for Cash Flow Statements.

This individual will:

Maintain general ledgers and performs the complete accounting cycle in compliance with established practices and generally accepted accounting principles.

Provide accounting and financial reporting guidance to support business, functional and corporate needs.

Analyze, classify, and review complex accounting transactions and interrelationships.

Prepare interpretation of accounting results and advises management.

Identify complex accounting problems, researches solutions, and corrects problem.

Examine financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting requirements and principles.

Ensure internal controls are in place and operating effectively in accordance with company standards and government regulations.

May initiate and lead special projects for process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly DuPont Cash Flow Statement used for quarterly and annual SEC filings

  • Assist in the preparation of the DowDuPont Cash Flow Statement

  • Analyze cash flow impacts and lead quarterly meetings with Finance Leadership to review results

  • Prepare footnotes for quarterly and annual SEC filings

  • Operate monthly accounting close processes for various US holding companies.

  • Prepare account reconciliations in compliance with the global account reconciliation policy to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Work with various accounting and reporting systems to accomplish tasks and organize data for effective presentation.

  • Lead & drive continuous improvement in the consolidation process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

  • CPA or MBA preferred

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience

  • GAAP and/or consolidation experience preferred

  • Position requires strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task and proficiency is the use of systems, including Microsoft suite of applications and SAP

  • Candidate must be self-managed and self-motivated as well as have the ability to organize time and efforts to meet deadlines

  • Communication skills

  • Results oriented
