Controlled Environment/Cleanroom Specialist – DuPont Personal Protection (m/f) (Job Number: SHE00001149)
The Controlled Environments (CE) Specialist has primary responsibility for selling and promoting the sale of our Controlled Environments portfolio (including DuPont™ Tyvek® IsoClean® products) to end users through our distribution channel. This will be accomplished through increasing DuPont Personal Protection's brand power and channel leverage, ensuring closure of our highest value opportunities, and gaining share through end-user penetration.
To increase our brand power and channel leverage, the CE Specialist will ensure that DuPont sales representatives are trained & equipped to sell CE products, develop and communicate value-proposition of CE portfolio vs. competition, and conduct competitive analysis and develop related selling tools in collaboration with marketing.
To ensure closure of our highest value opportunities and threats, the CE Specialist will respond to critical sales events (CSE’s) identified by DuPont and Distributor Sellers, proactively work the CE opportunity pipeline, resolve issues or threats at existing end-user accounts, and coach other sellers on closing smaller opportunities.
The CE Specialist must work both independently and collaboratively, with strong capabilities in consultative selling, influence management, and cross-functional coordination. She/he has a strong understanding of our offering and customer applications with the ability to assemble custom product & service offerings to meet end-user needs.
The CE Specialist will also have a to build a robust network to enhance market expertise in clothing solutions for Controlled Environments and to connect externally throughout the value chain.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Captures potential opportunities via engagement with distributor sellers and DuPont sales representatives
Engages sales team to identify and close high-value Controlled Environments sales opportunities
Maintains the Salesforce.com pipeline for his opportunities and acts as regional coordinator
Provides subject-matter expertise and training on Controlled Environments industry and implications to our business for our sales organization and distribution channel
Maintains all key account information in account plan, opportunity pipeline, call report
Aproximately 50-60% travel (office or home-office based)
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
3+ years of experience in Controlled Environments, in Pharma or in Medical Industry
5+ years of proven experience in technical sales or marketing role
Experience working with distributors and managing channel conflict
Knowledge of sales tools; CRM
Can develop and maintain strong relationships with distributor field sales and end-user customers, internal staff, business partners, and key industry influencers
Seeks information to understand customers' circumstances, problems, expectations and needs
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both oral and written) at all levels with external and internal stakeholders
Highly skilled in negotiation and influence management
Strong planning & organization capabilities
Clearly self-motivated to be effective with limited direct supervision and capable of aggressively competing in a dynamic market that has significant competitive pressures
Capable of getting results by delivering on commitments, including closing new business and maintaining existing business
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
Technical knowledge of DuPont™ Tyvek® IsoClean® products
Experience with personal protective equipment / safety category
Location: France (position might be either office based in Paris or home based anywhere in France)
Languages: French and English (fluent), any additional languages are a plus
