THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure DuPont provides market competitive and effective total reward programs for exempt and non-exempt populations

  • The incumbent is part of a team of 5 rewards consultants in the EMEA region and will work very closely with other members of the CoE, the Local HR organization, and the regional Shared Service Center This is a key role part of the Total Rewards Center of Expertise

  • The Southern Europe role will be responsible for rewards in 7 countries covering over 3000 employees

Your key responsibilities:

  • Adapt and implement C&B policies locally in coordination with corporate reward team

  • Initiate and drive reward related projects locally and regionally (examples include sales incentive, benefits alignment, market competitiveness, job levelling and pricing, benefits sourcing)

  • Ensure reward programs are communicated and understood

  • Accountable for reward components in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures

  • Provide consulting support to HR colleagues and managers in C&B subject areas

  • Advocate reward angle in HR and business discussions

  • Educate the company on practices and needs for the countries in the region

  • Escalate and resolve compensation or benefits concerns that may exist at country level

  • Work to make the company chosen HR model efficient and effective, leverage the shared service center, imbedded HR and CoE

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, HR Management or similar discipline

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in C&B in an international organization; preferably both inhouse and consultancy

  • Broad experience in compensation & benefits issues

  • Detailed knowledge and experience with one or more global HR consultancy market pricing methodologies

  • Maturity to be a credible resource for both country management and global rewards

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and manage a complex network of key stakeholders

  • Project management experience and aptitude; project management experience at a regional level and proven results in delivering successful C&B projects

  • Hands on and innovative approach

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic and changing environment

  • Ambitious, demanding, active, trustworthy, high level of integrity and ethical standards and

  • Fluent English and French are required. Spanish and Italian will be an asset
