Raw Material Coordinator & Shipping Point CSR (m/f), Transportation & Advanced Polymers (Job Number: MAT00001085)


Key responsibilities:

  • Daily supply and inventory management through MRP and placement of raw material & packaging call-offs to secure supply to production

  • Follow-up of and communication with suppliers, administration of order documentation, and timely resolution of payment webcycles

  • Proactive reporting and prevention of raw material shortages through active problem-solving

  • Coordination of interplant shipments

  • Forecasting of raw material & packaging consumption

  • Management of safety stocks and economical order quantities

  • Analysis and resolution of slow moving materials

  • Inventory control by follow-up of open orders and inventory

  • Work on improvement projects with suppliers and/or contractors

  • Participate in yearly inventory stock-takeWork together with S&L to review existing and set-up new contracts and ‘logistic specs’

  • Follow-up on complaints on suppliers/contractors and yearly contractor/service provider rating


  • Bachelor degree in logistic or commercial direction or equal by experience

  • Teamplayer & networking skills

  • High sense of responsibility & initiative

  • Stress resistance, flexible attitude

  • Strong in administration: able to work accurately and manage time independently

  • Strong communication skills

  • Good analytical & problem-solving skills

  • Good knowledge of English language

  • IT skills: SAP, Excell, Word, Access databases
