Process Technician Logistics - $1,000 Sign On Bonus (Job Number: 193384W-01)

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Beloit, WI manufacturing team in the position of Process Technician - Logistics. As part of the logistics team, you will be responsible for process operation in areas across the plant. You will monitor equipment and production processes to ensure maximization of enzyme manufacturing. This involves working with our process control system, troubleshooting equipment and interacting with engineers, technicians and maintenance to optimize the process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform core process operations, which may include: media prep, fermentation, recovery, DCS automation, packaging, loading & unloading trucks, and working outdoors

  • Troubleshoot equipment such as valves, pumps, hoses, etc.

  • Work with fellow process technicians, area experts, and engineers to optimize the process

  • Actively participate in crew and department activities (including: definition of best practices, consensus decision making, SOP development and maintenance, training, continuous improvement efforts and standardization)

  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with regard to: division of tasks, shift handover, e-mail, problem resolution, feedback, process documentation, etc.

  • Work in an organized and safe manner; address safety, GMP and housekeeping concerns

  • Contribute to continuous improvement through observations, attention to detail and follow through

  • Implement, adhere to and recommend changes to ISO standards

  • Model appropriate behavior and hold people accountable for: Safety Health Environment/Project Safety Management and Ethics and Respect for People Core Values.

Qualifications

We are looking for an effective, results-driven, self-directed and motivated team player who communicates in an open, honest manner. In addition, qualified candidates should possess the following:

  • High school diploma and 1-3 years demonstrated manufacturing experience or certified advanced technical education required

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter with systematic decision making, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to define, write and follow Standard Operating Procedures

  • Experience with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.)

  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and coordinate activities

  • Strong team player with an ability to work closely with all functional teams within the plant

  • Work safely and adhere to DuPont Core Value Ability to lead and uphold core values

  • Ability to do moderate to heavy stair climbing (including vertical ladders), along with the ability to work above floor surfaces (heights)

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts 6am-6pm in a rotation; Weekends & Overtime as required

  • Ability to do moderate to heavy lifting (65 lbs)
