Associate Investigator (Job Number: 194247W-01)
CPM R&D in Circleville has a core function of developing new novel polyimide films, and is extending the film portfolio to include other high performance, dielectrically insulating materials. The R&D group is physically located adjacent to full scale polyimide manufacturing and the R&D area includes full wet lab & analytical capability, as well as a highly flexible pilot area. The pilot facility is not only the first intermediate scale-up step on product developments, but it also seeds the market with small lot custom manufacturing capability.
Seeking a chemical or mechanical engineer who will be:
Focused on supporting rapid prototyping efforts of new products or application prototypes for the growing films and laminates in the Electronic Materials Films division at Circleville, OH.
Leading and executing small scale equipment modifications as necessary, requiring an aptitude for process equipment design, process flow mapping, PHAs and test planning.
Interacting with laboratory scientists, technicians, pilot operations team and full scale operations personnel, and customers to identify and translate basic needs to data-driven new product test plans.
Has at least a BS is chemical or mechanical engineering
3+ years in an R&D or manufacturing (continuous process) environment
Some Film casting and web handling experience is preferred
