Graphics Application Development/ Tech Support Engineer (Job Number: 191567W-01)
As part of our growth planning in Tyvek®, we seek a scientist or engineer who can support ongoing customer inquiries, develop new applications for existing Tyvek® styles in graphics applications, and support development of new products to serve the graphics market.
Regularly interacts with key graphics customer accounts to understand technical service needs as well as new applications that can be fulfilled by Tyvek®
Support designated customer accounts to provide technical service as needed
Scouts new technologies, products, and services to keep the business constantly aware of options that can be utilized to address key market needs in graphics
Work closely with customers to enable Tyvek® products to run smoothly on their printing equipment
Complete Tyvek® qualification studies on state-of-the-art printing platforms
Provides technical development support for new product development projects to address important market needs in graphics
3 years’ experience working on commercial printing technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
Demonstrated capability developing and commercializing new products and applications.
Excellent communication skills and ability to present scientific findings to a broad audience.
Comfort with and willingness to learn about manufacturing processes.
Problem solving skills/ trainings.
Knowledge of commercial printing technologies (machines & printing techniques).
Willingness to travel up to 50%, including global travel.
Project Management skills/ certifications.
Must have the Innovation, Risk-Taken and Speed behaviors as part of new S&C culture.
Six Sigma certification.
