We are looking to fill Country Financial Controller Switzerland role for the future SpecCo company.
The Country Controller provides oversight of all Controllership activities in country primarily focused on statutory accounts, internal controls and governance.
The Country Controller is the key contact for the accounting center on all country related accounting matters.
The Country Controllers is the key Finance contact for Country/Site Leadership and External Authorities (incl. External Auditors) and is ultimately accountable for the integrity of the financial reporting of legal entities residing in country.

The functional and process knowledge as well as the number of touch points and influencing skills necessary to deliver the role.
In order to deliver accurate and quality Controllership activities, the Country Controller works directly with local organization/s, Regional & Global Service Centers and all other functions feeding directly or indirectly into the Legal Entities Financial Statements (Tax, Treasury, HR, Supply Chain, Sourcing…).The Country Controller also acts as the steward of Internal Controls in all areas in scope.
Reviews the reporting and financial statements prepared by the Service Centers
Facilitates the accounting processes to ensure the integrity of the Legal Entity Financial Statements, including Financial Reporting, Accounting, Controls and Governance
Partners with Businesses and Functions locally providing guidance and support and participating in discussions and decisions
In countries where other Finance Competencies are not present, liaises and represents Finance when needed
Supports the Centers to address complex accounting matters
Is part of the regional Controllership organization in support of regional or global projects and initiatives
Is responsible to perform any Controllership activity remaining locally
Liaises with local PwC auditors as needed
Represents DuPont to External Authorities
Exercises fiduciary responsibilities directly through board membership or indirectly in advising board members
Analysis & judgement
Ability to influence organizations to ensure appropriate tone at the top and robust control environment

Broad knowledge of Legal and Regulatory Compliance Processes in the country/region
Broad accounting knowledge (USGAAP, Local GAAP, IFRS)
Strong financial accounting, tax and external reporting knowledge
Understanding of end-to-end processes and how they feed into LE & Business Financial Statements
Overall understanding of transactional and reporting systems and related interdependencies
Ability to interact in local languages within and outside DuPont
Solid SAP track record
Global Shared Service Centers Leaders, Supervisors, Team Leaders and accountants
Regional Business and Function Finance Managers
EDUCATION and Experience:
Degree in Accounting or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of Finance including relevant Accounting experience
Additional references preferred: CPA, MBA
