As the Industrial Electrician & Maintenance Mechanic, you will work with the Maintenance Team to maintain the facility all of the equipment at the location. You will work to improve the local process control network and propose and implement programming changes. You will be challenged with duties and responsibilities that will evolve throughout the year. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain integrity of the PLCautomation servers and PLC processors at location

  • Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment inside andoutside of the plant

  • Troubleshoot and modify ladder logicprograms on Allen Bradley processors using RSLogix 500 and 5000 software

  • Understand the strategy for theProcess Control Network operating production locations and is accountablefor the implementation of the strategy at the local level

  • Lead and foster the safety culturewith team members, and drive maintenance and reliability of the processcontrol network

  • Develop a strategy for PLC automationsupport for the location which includes training of operators

  • Assist in the development,installation, inspection and maintenance of new or enhanced mechanicaland/or electrical equipment

  • Preventative maintenance conducted onfield or facility equipment/machinery or vehicles

  • Estimate labor and equipment costs,maintain appropriate maintenance, inventory and repair logs

  • May lead others in maintenance oroversee certain program, processes or projects

Qualifications

Thefollowing are required:

  • High School Diploma or GED and two years of relatedIndustrial electrical and PLC Automation experience

  • Previous Mechanical or Maintenance experience

  • Previous electrical experience voltages ranging from24v to 480v 3 phase

  • Willing and able to climb and/or work in elevatedareas; standing and sitting for extended periods

  • Willing and able to work both outdoors and indoors inhot, cold, wet and dry conditions

  • Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and completework that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting

  • Willing and able to work overtime hours includingweekend work and to be on call for operations

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Problem solving skills, conflict resolution skills, andteamwork skills

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communicationskills

  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Understanding of or experience with Allen Bradley

  • Willing to complete additional training if necessary

Thefollowing are preferred:

  • Previous HMI graphical interface programming experienceusing Allen-Bradley FTVSE\FTVME and PanelBuilder32 Software

  • Previous experience programming ladder logic with AllenBradley logix 500 and logix 5000

  • Knowledge of electrical panels and electricaltroubleshooting

  • Advanced degree in related field

  • Ability to read blue prints

  • Ability to obtain professional certifications

  • Training/coaching skills

  • Project management skills
