Run Plant Engineer (Job Number: 193482W-01)


l Work with research scientist to design the capable process and innovative process for the experimental materials or scale-up products in the timely manner.

l Improve process capability (yield, uptime, capacity release, adherence to specifications) through the methodology of six sigma / Kaizen / Lean, etc.

l Lead quality investigations related to technology issues and assist with customer complaints as it relates to technology issues.

l Conduct spec reviews to improve existing capability and control. Develop improvement strategies as part of the output of these reviews.

l Provide technical support of day-to-day operations within established product line; lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for manufacturing issues.

l Enable and assist in the technical capability building of the operators and other engineers to develop the organizational competency of manufacturing technology.

l Lead plant Process Safety Management activities, identify PS gaps through timely workbook review and near miss analysis, proactively develop/implement mitigation actions.

l Coordinate site continuous improvement activities.


l Bachelor or above degree in Chemical engineering or Material science.

l Minimum 3 years’ experience in multi-national company, electronic materials or chemical industry experience is preferred.

l Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.

l With knowledge of 6 sigma, DOE, Kaizen, Lean, Black Belt is preferred.

l Process safety management related knowledge is preferred.

l Good verbal and written communication capability in Mandarin and English.

l Familiar with shop-floor operation.
