Regional Telecom Operations Lead, APAC (Job Number: 191205W-01)
Coordinate withVendor/Partners for all aspects of run/maintain support of existing Telecomenvironment including networks and firewall according to SLAs and KPIs
Service levelmanagement and tracking for internally and externally sourced services.
Manage and reviewmetrics of the particular competency in order to identify trends, issues andmake the appropriate recommendations, corrective actions.
Problem solving andtracking for the telecom area in the region, using the global network asresource to share experience and knowledge and the local resources asexecutors.
Ensure, togetherwith the global infrastructure leader, the telecom services in that particulararea and in the particular region are up and running 24 x 7.
Escalation pointfor incidents impacting sites in the region.
Make sure CWT’sare set up as appropriate for issues involving more than one vendor.
Managesrelationships with the site leaders.
Manage the vendorin the region for their particular area, including relationships, stewardship,SLA´s.
Knowledgetransfer point to outsource partners.
Demand andCapacity utilization and management.
Participate as aresource in Projects chartered to maintain Service Levels, or fortransformation and Productivity Programs (to improve efficiency/effectivenessof the Telecom Services, or IT in general)
Coordinate withVendor/Partners for LCM execution & optimization
Participate inPQR resolution/escalation, and RCCA processes
Ensure standardsfor management and monitoring capabilities are met by providers.
Ensure compliancepractices are followed.
SupportVendors/Partners in transition to next-generation capabilities
Work closely withbusiness partners on requests and support for the full range of needed telecomcapabilities
Maintaindocumentation on assets and configuration
Perform change /problem /incident management as per E2E Standard processes (ITIL)
Asset owner andapprover for security access; manages all DuPont-side compliance practices.Participate in audits as required.
Perform rootcause analysis for major issues and provide workarounds to ensure businesscontinuity
Continuouslypropose improvement of current practices, policies, procedures or other actionsthat result in an enhanced workflow, reduce costs, increase productivity andend user satisfaction
Skills and Competencies
Ability tounderstand and adhere to Global guidelines and ensure that proper proceduresare being followed. Works very closely with the Telecom Service Delivery andSolutions Delivery Leaders.
Knowledge ofinformation systems terminology, concepts, and practices. In particular, fortelecom (networks and voice)
Needs tounderstand and prioritize technology problems, based on impact to the business.
Ability to solveproblems in a timely and appropriate manner.
Expertise in theuse of IT tools, processes and methodologies.
Knowledge aboutthe operation of the telecom area
- B.E. or MCA
- 8-10 years ofexperience in Telecom Operations & administration
