Business Development Support Representative (Job Number: 195630W-01)
Facilitate DOW OTC process training to sales team including: on board training for new seller; refresh training, change impact sharing etc.
Provide reporting support to commercial team as per requirement i.e. .; Monthly Sales Report, delayed shipment report, actual order report etc. (Susan Xu)
Work with sales team together on quarterly/Month End Volume Push or order place on dynamic situation
Visit customers on needed basis with account managers to prepare customers ready to do business with Dow.
Assist with sellers on necessary customer communications. E.g. distribute customer letter for M&A projects.
Provide support to marketing communication events, such as Chinaplas etc.
Local language Purchase Order receive from customer will be transfer into English & fill into the order template
Sample order support customer on clearance
Annual agreement, rebate monitoring & execution
Get customer order and prepare agreement on demand
Legal/country regulation requirement for Document filling
First Sales Order Procedures – FSOP process
Support Dow Seller (Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand) to raise price in SFDC
Identifying past due and follow up, developing the schedule for past due
Coordinate with PS&R (Product Stewardship & Regulatory) to provide requested certificate to customer: MSDS, TDS, Confirmation Letter, Customer Certificate…
Support customer to work with local shipping line if any issue as shipper representative
Maintain and develop customer relationship through day to day connection with customers.
Work with seller/center CS on key accounts’ inquiry and complaints.
Facilitate training/sharing sessions to customer as necessary.
Focal point to contact with customer on order inquiry.
Keep track on order entry status vs. allocation volume. Timely escalate to supply chain planner/seller when observe gaps.
Work with planners/sellers in confirming extra volume beyond allocation.
Prepare To Do Business Activities
Customer Master Management.
New customer on boarding.
Daily Contract Issuing (for area applicable).
Perform Inventory Check on needed basis.
Follow up PTDB documents, eg. L/C, TT payment
Local Order and Offline Sample Management
Manage local order entry and downstream follow up to ensure timely delivery for local orders.
Interact with local warehouse/logistic team on stock request/repacking request.
Interface with local customs/carriers to help customer inquiry and complaints.
Local focal point to facilitate in-country regulation implementation/changes etc.
Admin support: P&IP car booking and payment, support Sales to process shopping cart in SRM
- Lead or Participate in continuous improvement activities/projects aiming for better customer satisfaction and higher productivity.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years proven experiences in the capacity as a Senior CS Specialist with extensive Customer Services work processes/Systems and Business Supply Chain understanding.
University degree education (Bachelors) is an asset
Work experience in sales support or customer service is required
Experience and working knowledge of SAP and associated processes is an advantage
Team spirit, flexibility, analytical and organizational skills
Good communication and negotiation skills with external and internal partners
Fluent in English - spoken, written
IT literacy is essential - knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) data processing, database systems is a must
