Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont™ has an exciting opportunity for a Market Development Specialist focused in the Indiana area working in our Crop Protection business. The Market Development Specialist will support local crop protection sales team with sales and product training for new and experienced sales representatives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage technical training for key distributors
Coordinate and execute technical support and regional marketing strategies for the distribution sales force and growers
Help launch and support new and existing products
Generate local and regional tools for new opportunities within specified geography
Develop product positioning, sales tools, and other local marketing activities
Bachelor’s degree required with demonstrated capabilities
5 + years field experience in the crop protection industry
CCA certificate is preferred
Additional skills we are seeking:
Strong technical expertise and problem solving skills required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written
Working knowledge of sales and marketing skills
Strong self directing skills, ability to work effectively with minimal guidance
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
Strong computer skills; PowerPoint, Word, Excel is preferred
