As an Administrative Coordinator on this team, you will use your experience and skills to perform complex administrative duties with minimal supervision. You will work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where organization, resourcefulness and flexibility are of the utmost importance. The ability to think proactively and adapt to changing priorities is critical. You will support a diverse group amongst several U.S. and International locations.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintains and prioritizes calendar invitations and meeting requests for an assigned staff. Assists with arrangements of cost-effective domestic and international travel for assigned staff by researching and booking appropriate modes of transportation for business trips, tracks travel approval process

  • Attends and participates in departmental meetings. May organize, provide input, take minutes and distribute information.

  • Proofreads for content and typographical errors and supplies correct spelling, punctuation and grammar as needed.

  • Establishes and maintains files, reports, and other hard copy or computerized information related to departmental operations. Information may be highly confidential.

  • Coordinates and schedules travel and meeting arrangements.

  • Responds to employee inquiries about department or company programs, practices and procedures.

  • Codes, verifies and processes expense reports and invoices for supervisor and other staff.

  • Serves as a key contact for HR processes, which may include position management, new hires, I-9, payroll or time entry coordination.

Qualifications

The following are required:

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Communications or equivalent and 2-3 years of related admin/professional experience, OR HS Diploma and at least 4-6 years of experience

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate across the organization

  • Meeting planning/coordinating experience

  • Calendaring experience

  • Experience with budgets and expense reports

  • Experience with coordinating travel and travel management systems

  • Ability to manage confidential information

The following are preferred:

  • Knowledge of the Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont™ organization, including its vision, structure and business operations

  • Excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • SAP & Workday experience
