The Portal Lead has oversight for all aspects of the portal including design, technical aspects including features and functionality, content resources, site information architecture and ongoing improvements. This position is a global champion for the use and content on the HR portal.
This role leads the global content core team, manages the SharePoint portal/DMS technical staff, and is responsible for the execution of HR related projects and programs impacting portal, including solutions and build of new requirements.
The HR Portal Lead is accountable for maintaining the governance model, continual process improvements and implementation of same to ensure standard, efficient and effective processes and robust portal content required to maintain the portal.
This position is responsible for triage and resolution of issues and provides ongoing guidance to the HR Service Center teams, Content Network teams and Technical teams.
Location: Preferred location is DuPontoffice in Johnston, IA. However, working from an alternate Dupont HR office worldwideis an option
What do we expect from you?
Responsible for development and implementation ofrequirements and deliverables, working closely with portal technical team toensure alignment on tasks and timelines.
Liaison with IT infrastructure teams including WebServices, Azure, AD, EIS, IT security teams to ensure alignment on timelinesand to understand and manage downstream impacts. Escalates issues as appropriatebased on severity and impact.
Responsible for system and integration testing planningand execution.
Responsible for cutover planning and execution andsupport hypercare
Leads resource planning efforts for technical, contentand project management activities.
Facilitates solutions to resolve issues
Ensures all stakeholders are kept up to date withproject progress via regular communications and meetings.
Lead portal thread for various HR and non-HR projectsand evaluate implications of initiatives
Provides oversight on portal day-to-day operations.
Manages off shore portaltechnical resources oversight for all technical activities, and liaison with ITteams (infrastructure, security, EIS, AD, etc.)
Oversight of all technicaldocumentation – technical architecture/specs, functional design document,monthly deployment documents, etc.
Reviews and prioritizessupport tickets – defects and enhancements
Provides design direction andsign-off for portal functionality
Owns portal governance,standards and processes.
Evaluate and makesrecommendations on enhancements to portal functionality based on technologyupgrades, usability studies, user feedback/requests and best practices
Owns and drives continuousimprovement program and priorities recommended enhancements and contentimprovements.
Serves as the portal asset owner for approvals and othersecurity requirements and audits
Ensures the HR portal andcontent meets the needs of users, and meets portal standards and guidelines
Serves on various HR projectteams to determine information architecture, release considerations and timing
Member of HR technology leadership team
Oversight for the portal information architecture /taxonomy, taking into account global and local implications.
Oversight for onboarding and training of portalresources
Responsible for timely issue identification andresolution according to established SLAs.
Understands SalesForce.com technology and serve assecondary, back-up to SFDC technology lead.
What do we need from you?
Bachelor’s degree in HumanResources, Technology or Business field OR equivalent experience
3-5 years of HR portaltechnology experience
Minimum 5 years knowledge andexperience with HR portals required
Demonstrated experience usingcontent management systems
Strong project managementexperience, analytical skills and specifically issue triage and managementskills.
Established global and crosscountry/region experience
Strong customer orientation
Strong HR functionalexpertise and operations acumen
Salesforce.com experience isa plus
Experience with SharePointtechnology preferred
