We’re seeking a dynamic technology professional who will work closely with IT and Business leaders to support our internal controls the IT Compliance area.
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Support and monitor the execution of defined internal controls for all SOX and Critical applications. This includes validating the processes documented are followed.
Build relationships with Asset Owners and lead them in defining, documenting and implementing of IT Controls as solutions are developed
Test the effectiveness of IT control execution for applications defined as SOX/Critical that are executed On-Prem and in the cloud
Participate and support internal/external auditors on all assets deemed inclusive as SOX/Critical based on company Materiality
Participate and support internal/external auditors on all audits that support transformation solutions being implemented
Educate and Train on the IT controls
Collaborate with the Run and Maintain team as support for the new solutions are transitioned to them.
Define and implement common compliance processes
Assist the company in identifying compliance risks to the company and build processes to ensure the risk is mitigated until solutions are identified and implemented to eliminate the risk.
Overall, the IT Security and Compliance organization is responsible for the following areas:
Defining IT Internal Controls for the company. These IT controls support all SOX, Operational, and Trade Secret applications and the infrastructure needed to support the applications. Examples include ERP applications, non-ERP applications, Sales & Marketing, HR applications, Manufacturing applications, Middleware, Servers, Databases, etc.
Understanding the business strategy moving forward and the IT solutions to be implemented to support the strategy and make sure compliance processes are implemented to limit the risk for the IT controls defined.
Collaboration between Internal and External Auditors and leadership. This includes defining audit strategy for Run and Maintain applications, infrastructure and new IT solutions as they are implemented.
Given the remit of the IT Operations & Support organization, the IT Controls and Compliance Specialist should be a quick learner with an understanding of IT applications & infrastructure. You should be comfortable in working in a fast-paced, collaborative, highly matrix environment. In addition, you must be comfortable working with ambiguity and should have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to be able to assist the leadership in developing and executing the compliance strategy for IT Operations organization. You should have outstanding communication skills.
The following are required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study and at least 2-4 years of experience in IT Compliance
Knowledge of IT Compliance, Information Security and Risk Management
Knowledge of 3rd part testing, SOC 1, SOC 2 reporting is a plus
Knowledge of SAP ERP and GRC is a plus
Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills
Analytical and problem solving skills
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities
Ability to perform successfully under limited supervision
High degree of confidentiality
Occasional travel required
