We are looking for a talented individual to join our Avon, CA manufacturing team in the position of Process Technician - Logistics. As part of the logistics team, you will be responsible for process operation in areas across the plant. You will monitor equipment and production processes to ensure maximization of catalyst manufacturing. This involves working with our process control system, troubleshooting equipment and interacting with engineers, technicians and maintenance to optimize the operations.
Packaging, loading & unloading trucks, and working outdoors
Maintains Certified lift truck operator, responsible for safe operation and daily inspection of vehicle for defects requiring repair.
Troubleshoot equipment such as valves, pumps, hoses, etc.
Functions as a conscientious, participative team member in work group with focus on reaching team goals.
Actively participate in crew and department activities (including: definition of best practices, consensus decision making, SOP development and maintenance, training, continuous improvement efforts and standardization)
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing regarding: division of tasks, e-mail, problem resolution, feedback, process documentation, etc.
Work in an organized and safe manner; address safety, GMP and housekeeping concerns
Contribute to continuous improvement through observations, attention to detail and follow through
Recommend changes, Implement, and adhere to ISO standards

We are looking for an effective, results-driven, self-directed and motivated team player who communicates in an open, honest manner. In addition, qualified candidates should possess the following:
High school diploma and 1-3 years demonstrated manufacturing experience or certified advanced technical education required
Currently hold or can qualify to receive a Powered Industrial Truck/Forklift certification
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with systematic decision making, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to maintain standards in the areas of housekeeping, safety, attendance, DOT / shipping regulations, and product inventory and hazardous waste management
Ability to wear a respirator
Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines under pressure
Ability to define, write and follow Standard Operating Procedures
Experience with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
Ability to perform multiple tasks and coordinate activities
Strong team player with an ability to work closely with all functional teams within the plant
Work safely and adhere to DuPont Core Value Ability to lead and uphold core values
Ability to do moderate to heavy stair climbing (including vertical ladders), along with the ability to work above floor surfaces (heights)
Ability to do moderate to heavy lifting (65 lbs)
Ability to work 8-hour shifts 7am-3:30pm; Weekends & Overtime as required
Possess a valid California driver’s license
Currently hold or can qualify to receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card (Note, information regarding TWIC qualification standards may be found at https://www.tsa.gov/for-industry/twic )
