Seeking a new and challenging opportunity to further enhance your career? DuPont currently has a Nutrition and Health Commercial Paralegal opening. This person provides a wide range of legal support to function/clients, including legal research, drafting of legal and business communications, and other related duties. May serve as primary legal and/or corporate resource in specified legal practice area, such as bankruptcy, immigration, litigation. Ensures corporate compliance with local and national, as well as company policies and plan administration.

What do we expect from you?

Essentialfunctions:

  • Reviews, drafts,and amends routine contractswithin the Nutrition & Health business,consulting with a commercial attorney as necessary.

  • Develop andupdate commercial contract templates and processes; instruct business clientsin the use of the templates and processes.

  • Assists in thepreparation of more complex contracts.

  • Conducts andsummarizes legal research.

  • Provideguidance to the business on established legal, regulatory, and corporatepolicies and practices to facilitate compliance.

  • Delivers trainingin response to specific business needs.

  • Coordinates andconducts antitrust audits, including records review and client interviews.

  • Drafts andmanages corporate documents for subsidiaries.

  • Support M&Aactivity, through activities such as managing the collection, review, andorganization of information responsive to due diligence.

  • Serves on teamsrelated to records management, legal technology and management of the legalteam’s IT platform SharePoint site.

  • Sharesknowledge and best practices with the other paralegals in the SpecialtyProducts legal group.

  • Project participationand other duties, as directed by Associate General Counsel.

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Minimum Education: Two year associate’s degree,with a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA accredited or approved program orequivalent numbers of years related work experience.

  • Minimum Experience: At least 4-5 years ofexperience as a paralegal or comparable experience specific to jobrequirements.

  • Priorexperience with drafting routine contracts.

  • Experiencein working with MS-Office and different IT software.

  • Demonstrateshigh standards for professionalism, responsibility, and ethics.

  • Demonstratesstrong organization, teamworking and investigative skills.

  • Demonstratesability to work and think independently, self-starter.

  • Communicateseffectively in writing and orally.

  • Demonstrates awillingness to learn.

  • Actionoriented. Drives results.
