Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Job Number: 192316W-01)


DuPont’s Pencader site has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the Vespel ® Shapes and Resin processes. Enjoy variety in this role as you support day to day operations and execute minor capital improvement projects within a process safety management framework. Our unique and growing Vespel® business is involved in both Automotive and Aerospace supply chains using highly evolved Quality Management systems. Gain exposure to our business with opportunity for customer interaction by serving as a technical resource to the site’s quality management system. The technology involved in these processes is export controlled so the engineer must be a US Citizen or permanent resident. We hunger for your talents and value your experience. The following are required:

  • BS in Mechanical orChemical Engineering (Mechanical Preferred)

  • 8+ years previousmanufacturing experience

  • Proven ability todrive timely and highly effective results while positively influencing others

  • Strong interpersonalskills to both network and to be an effective team member

  • Solid demonstratedanalytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to handlemultiple tasks and a high-volume workload with shifting and competingpriorities

  • Strong teamwork andorganization skills

The following are preferred:

  • Experience with powdercompaction technology

  • Experience withhydraulic systems

  • Familiarity withindustry specific quality management systems

  • Experience withcapital project management

  • Six Sigma Green orBlack Belt certified
