Seeking a new and challenging opportunity to further enhance your career? Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont™ has an exciting for a Livestock Specialist –Ontario. A sales-focused position with assigned livestock/dairy account responsibility. Drive sales demand generation within business unit. Possess and deliver high level technical expertise on livestock/dairy nutrition as related to adding value to dairy enterprises through the positioning and use of Pioneer® brand products. Support Account Managers (AM) and Sales Representatives (SR) on other dairy and livestock accounts. Build relationships with industry influencers including academics, feed company representatives, independent nutritionists and custom operators. This position is to to cover a 1-year maternity leave.
What do we expect from you?
Drive Sales DemandGeneration within the business unit, provide key dairy account responsibility,training and tactic support of AM’s and SR’s, and strategic resource support tothe field sales and management teams; focused on areas of concentrated dairyproduction.
Execute on Tactical Plansand Contribute to overall Dairy Strategy for the business unit & forNAS.
Contribute to strategic andtactical planning related to dairy accounts.
Emphasis on the interactionwith and leverage through influencers in these industries.
Contribute to the knowledgeand information resource through materials that support successful livestockproduction through the use of our products.
Contribute to trainingresources specific to the field sales team and to producers.

Influence TargetedStakeholders regarding Pioneer products.
Develop useful relationshipswith key influencer groups including nutritionists, academics, custom operatorsworking within the targeted industries, and selected industryorganizations.
Establish partnerships withthese groups that can be leveraged to add value for both Pioneer and theinfluencer.
Maintain awareness ofcompetitive activities in the target business, and continuously developinformation or tactical responses that support our business.
Train and coach AccountManagers and Sales Reps/Dealers regarding technical selling skills, Pioneerproduct knowledge and services as they relate to adding value to dairyoperations.
Actively support AM/Reps sellto their larger accounts.
Participate in SalesRep/Dealer selection and development activities by providing forage andnutritional technical and sales support.
Drive and execute the areastrategy regarding livestock production influencers (i.e. nutritionists,veterinarians, feed companies reps, certain crop consultants, customoperators).
Assist the sales area inbuilding relationships with key influencers.
Be the key conduit to informkey dairy influencers of company products, services, and technicalupdates.
Remain current in technicalskills and support influencer relationship-building by attending regional andnational nutrition and dairy related conferences.
Execute dairy strategy asoutlined for specific sales market. Will develop and deliver sales proposals inconcert with company direction.
Routinely provides strategicdirection on product, performance, and technical information communicateddirectly to the customer and field sales team.
What do we need from you?
B.Sc. degree in Livestock Nutrition, Dairy Science orequivalent.
Knowledge of agronomics and seed industry also beneficial.
Exceptional communications skills, including the ability tointeract at all levels from simple to complex.
Ability to understand and execute dairy strategy to drive saleswithin the business unit in the context of balanced success for the customerand the company.
Ability to influence and create demand to meet sales goals
High level of teamwork orientation within a mixed-skill group, andwith similar-skilled peers across the company.
Willingness and ability to quickly acquire both the detailed andgeneral knowledge pertinent to the dairy market and the target audiences.
Demonstrated ability to initiate and build productiverelationships with all the target audiences identified in the role, and toleverage those relationships to the benefit of customers and the Company.
Candidate must have excellent English oral and writtencommunications skills, with ability to interpret relatively complexmaterials.
