Human Resources Consultant (Job Number: 191141W-01)
DuPont has a current opening for a North America Operations Human Resources Consultant that will provide direct support to Palo Alto, CA and multiples sites in the region, and be a part of the West Region HR Team. This position will require a person of vision, integrity and commitment, as well as substantial leadership and influencing experience, maturity and judgment. This position will report to the West Region HR Team Leader.
The Human Resource Consultant’s responsibilities will includebut are not limited to the following:
Day-to-day HR transactional activities, ensuringaccuracy of employee and organizational data.
Administers and implements HR initiatives. HRprograms supported may include Legal Eagle, Business Ethics, and AAP Plans. HRactivities will support COE activities across Global Rewards, TalentAcquisition, Talent Management, and Organizational Vibrancy.
Provides counsel and guidance to managers andemployees on HR policies and related practices.
Compiles, analyzes and interprets data in support ofHR metrics.
Generates reports and ensuring HR data is accurate.
Supports the needs of the HR Business Partner onvarious HR initiatives / processes.
Identifies ways to improve HR Analyst performanceand upgrade processes and/or procedures in support of employee and managerself-sufficiency.
Provides employee relations services to clientgroup.
Articulates implications of HR programs,communicates programs and implications, adapts programs as necessary to clientorganization needs within defined program boundaries, and assists management inimplementing HR program changes.
Effectively interprets and communicates businessgroup needs and identifies or assists in crafting appropriate solutions to meetneeds.
Coordinates efforts with other HR Teams to ensurereturn on development investments across business groups.
Supports the onboarding process of newemployees.
Effectively plans and leads the integration of HRwork streams and business resources.
Assists with various HR training programs andactivities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a relatedfield
Minimum 5 years’ HR experience that includes talentacquisition and staffing, talent management, compensation and change management
Demonstrated ability to initiate clear, actionablesteps to support the overall business strategy
Ability to prioritize and plan work activities fortimely decision making
Strong interpersonal communicationskills
Ability to engage, inspire and influenceothers
SPHR/PHR certifications highlyregarded
