Seeking a new and challenging opportunity to further enhance your career? DuPont currently has an opportunity for a Master Scheduler to join our Puerto Rico site. This position is accountable for creating monthly and weekly production requirements and inventory plans that meet demands from the sales and operations planning process. The Master Scheduler utilizes capacity analysis and customer service policies to govern schedules and inventory plans. This person is responsible for creating and implementing master scheduling time horizons and periods in accordance with business strategies and policies. May be responsible for master plans for single or multiple plants and continuous improvement of the accountable master scheduling process and performance.

What do we expect from you?

  • Developsthe weekly Master Production Schedule at the detailed level (disaggregate/SKU)by translating the DIBM/S&OP monthly aggregate Production Plan for the MPShorizon considering all demand and requirements for production.

  • Identifyand resolve conflicts with supply and demand and available capacity for the MPShorizon.

  • Utilize“what if” simulations to evaluate proposed MPS changes to determine impact andexecute the approved changes effectively.

  • Keyinterface with sales, demand management, customer service, marketing,engineering and production for the purpose of satisfying customer requirementsand providing policy advocacy to the business.

  • Keyinterface back to Master Planner and Asset Scheduler when required.

  • Maintainsaccurate data to support the master scheduling process (e.g. lead times, lotsizes, product wheel, and other operating rules and conditions).

  • Responsiblefor continuous improvement of the master scheduling process and performance.

  • Responsiblefor key master production planning metrics, root cause and corrective action.

  • Participatein the DIBM process and meetings as required.

  • Recommenddisposition of non-productive inventory as appropriate.

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • SixSigma Green Belt certification required

  • APICSCertification preferred prior to role

  • Operations,scheduling, and planning experiences are preferred

  • SAP/ APO / BW (or equivalent) preferred

  • 5years equivalent supply chain experience.

  • BS/BAdegree in Supply Chain and business field is preferred
