In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks associated with general plant operations, field activities, and warehouse operations that will evolve with each season throughout the year. You will be responsible for setting up and monitoring highly automated equipment for various processes such as receiving, conditioning, treating, and packing.

During peak season (September-April) the Renwick production plant runs a 24/6 or 24/7 schedule based on demand. Shift hours can be 8 to 12 hours depending on which schedule is utilized. This site staggers down to one day shift during the summer months.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving activities such as receiving,stabilization, sampling

  • Conditioning and packaging activities suchas, gravity operation, treating, packaging, palletizing,etc.

  • Return and discardactivities

  • Field management activities such as fieldinspections, field maintenance

  • Warehousing activities including forkliftoperation, collecting samples, pooling, etc.

  • Quality and sampling activities, such as binsampling

  • Gathering data for future aid incontinuous improvement projects

  • Various other duties as assigned bysupervisor


The following arerequired:

  • High Schooldiploma/GED

  • Minimum of one year of on-the-jobexperience in manufacturing, production, operations, agriculture or relatedfiled OR an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field ofstudy

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license andmay be required to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in thefuture

  • Willing and able to work in a variety ofareas (field, plant, warehouse)

  • Willing and able to climb and/or work inelevated areas; standing and sitting for extendedperiods

  • Willing and able to work both outdoors andindoors in hot, cold, wet and dry conditions

  • Willing and able to lift up to 60 lbs. andcomplete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting with orwithout reasonable accommodation

  • Willingness and ability to work overtimehours including weekend work required during seasonal peaks

  • Willingness and ability to work shift work

The following arepreferred:

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principlessuch as 5S, Continuous Improvement and Standardized Work are aplus

  • Knowledge of field equipmentdesired

  • Good verbal and interpersonalcommunication skills

  • Teamwork skills
