Sales and Account Manager (Job Number: 192207W-01)
For your awareness, DuPont has announced their intent to sell DuPont Teijin Films (DTF) business which you are requesting to join, to Indorama Ventures Limited (IVL) with an anticipated closing date in the second quarter of 2018. At closing, if selected you will become an employee of Indorama Ventures Limited (IVL).
Primarily responsible for selling product and/or services to new accounts and expanding business sales to existing accounts. Works independently within an assigned territory or customer base. Manages all aspects of the selling process. Administers sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals for the territory. Manages and builds relationships with existing customers. Identifies and establishes relationships with new customers. Promotes and sells custom product offerings; has deep knowledge in product and/or service areas. Selling role is highly consultative.
The position has responsibilities to include:
Be an advocate for the customer
Develop and implement market segment / customer growth plans
Relate products and markets to specific territory growth plans
Insure alignment of asset capabilities to customer / market needs
Understand business plan and adapt as required to achieve objectives
Bring innovative solutions to customers & markets
Use consultative selling and interpersonal skills to build trust and strong relationships with customers across the value chain
Provide reliable feedback on marketplace and industry trends
Assess competitive activities and assist in the development of appropriate counter measures
Aware of customers’ markets and trends and relates them to impact on accounts and products

Minimum Skills Required:
The successful candidate must have a strong science background, prior sales experience, equivalent customer interface experience and/or a college degree in a related field such as engineering or science.

Can understand and become proficient with IT / SAP systems.Understands basic accounting, credit, and MRP II principles.
