For your awareness, DuPont has announced their intent to sell DuPont Teijin Films (DTF) business which you are requesting to join, to Indorama Ventures Limited (IVL) with an anticipated closing date in the second quarter of 2018. At closing, if selected you will become an employee of Indorama Ventures Limited (IVL).

Primarily responsible for selling product and/or services to new accounts and expanding business sales to existing accounts. Works independently within an assigned territory or customer base. Manages all aspects of the selling process. Administers sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals for the territory. Manages and builds relationships with existing customers. Identifies and establishes relationships with new customers. Promotes and sells custom product offerings; has deep knowledge in product and/or service areas. Selling role is highly consultative.

The position has responsibilities to include:

  • Be an advocate for the customer

  • Develop and implement market segment / customer growth plans

  • Relate products and markets to specific territory growth plans

  • Insure alignment of asset capabilities to customer / market needs

  • Understand business plan and adapt as required to achieve objectives

  • Bring innovative solutions to customers & markets

  • Use consultative selling and interpersonal skills to build trust and strong relationships with customers across the value chain

  • Provide reliable feedback on marketplace and industry trends

  • Assess competitive activities and assist in the development of appropriate counter measures

  • Aware of customers’ markets and trends and relates them to impact on accounts and products

Qualifications

Minimum Skills Required:

  • The successful candidate must have a strong science background, prior sales experience, equivalent customer interface experience and/or a college degree in a related field such as engineering or science.

  • Builds credibility and trust with customers.Builds strong relationships with customers, internal support functions, and peers. Team player focused on team's mission.Being a strong team player is essential.

  • Can understand and become proficient with IT / SAP systems.Understands basic accounting, credit, and MRP II principles.

  • Assimilates & analyzes information from external and internal sources; able to anticipate impact to customer and take appropriate action. Critical information seeking; listens and probes for information.

  • Results oriented; takes initiative & ownership to drive customer issues to resolution.

  • Adaptable; adjusts rapidly to changing conditions; manages time well and can multi-task and prioritize.

  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.Can communicate at all levels of the organization and externally to the customer at multiple levels.
