The Commercial Support Coordinator role is responsible for executing a variety of commercial activities related to the day-to-day operation and administration of the Microbial Control business. These include: price entry into SAP, handling of customer rebates, handling of Credit Upon Proof of Sale (CUPS) for distributors, supply contract routing, and SAP data administration. The role interacts with the Business Unit, Customer Service and Invoice to Cash teams to provide the desired service level.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - PRICING:

  • Work with the commercial organization to clearly define the pricing structure necessary for each customer and/or business, and set up price records accordingly in SAP

  • Work with the business to optimize the price analysis and approval process

  • Validate price records periodically in tandem with commercial organizations to ensure that only required and current pricing is in the system

  • Ensure all activity is compliant with SOX standards

  • Identify and resolve price and payment discrepancies

  • Re-price open and non-invoiced orders to reflect pricing if changes occurred

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - REBATES:

  • Understand rebate processes and work with the commercial organization to ensure Rebate agreements are set up correctly and per expectations

  • Ensure that all activities are compliant to SOX standards

  • Provide expertise to the business on the rebate process. Closely monitor rebates and communicate issues back to the business

  • Work closely with Finance to ensure proper financial entries are made

  • Function as a liaison with Receivable Specialists, Financial Analysts, Sales and Marketing

  • Serve as control point to the rebate process ensuring proper Delegation of Authority is followed and contracts are in place when necessary

  • Generate reports to Business and Customers regarding Rebate Agreements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES – CUPS:

  • Validate distributor’s monthly CUPS submission(s)

  • Audit distributor’s monthly CUPS submission(s)

  • Work with businesses contacts on discrepancies and potential audit issues

  • Obtain appropriate payout approval from business delegate(s) ensuring proper Delegation of Authority is followed

  • Communicate with external customer base and provide reporting and reconciliation data when requested

  • Ensure that all activities are compliant to SOX standards

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES – CUSTOMER CONTRACTS:

  • Understand customer contract routing and archiving processes using ARIBA and DOCUSIGN tools

  • Work with the commercial organization to ensure appropriate execution of contract routing and archiving

  • Ensure that all activities are compliant to SOX standards

  • Provide expertise to the business on the contract routing process.

  • Generate reports to Business on customer contracts on an as-needed basis

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES – SAP DATA:

  • Understand SAP work processes for updating of customer/product level data to include Account Manager and Market Segments

  • Execute SAP updates at customer product/level data based upon requests from the business

  • Generate reports from SAP on customer, product, account manager, and market segment data as needed.

Associate Degree preferred or relevant work experience
