Sourcing & Logistics Specialist (Job Number: 192888W-01)

The Sourcing & Logistics Specialist – SME will have the below tactical responsibilities;

Expectations / Objectives

  • Subject Matter Expert – SAP ERP systems

  • Understand the workings/functionality of the different SAP platforms used across the IB business

  • Participate/Lead global supply chain project management opportunities in the areas of Transportation / Warehousing and broader supply chain integration with SBU’s

  • Drive continuous improvement with the SAP platforms within the IB business in all areas: OTC, PTP/ Whse & Logistics

  • EHS compliance for global warehouse operations (e.g. GMP, Regulatory, safety & country specific security programs)


  • Development and tactical execution for the IB Supply Chain OGSM’s (Warehousing, Transportation, and Consignment functions)

  • Tactical GSC Development for developing regions and white space opportunities

  • Principle contact for cross divisional development and collaborative opportunities

  • Performance measures: inventory accuracy, financial spend vs. PO.

  • Program development / maintenance to deliver efficient, safe operations at external & internal warehouse

  • Primary interface with global and/or regional third-party service providers.

  • Develop continuous improvement programs with Global Supply Chain Managers and Directors to support IB business needs Technical Competencies General Competencies Traits

  1. B.S. in Business Administration/Logistics/Supply Chain; 5 – 8 years min. experience.

  2. English speaking

  3. Project management experience preferred

  4. Proficient ERP skills across full supply functional horizon.

  5. Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills.

  6. Travel 25 %.
