The facility manufactures Probiotics for Human and Animal consumption and also houses Industrial Biosciences' Analytical and Microbiology Laboratories.

NATURE OF WORK:

  • Perform core training work – A full time team member is needed to support the site’s growth by focusing on developing and implementing training best practices and requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Must be Training of Trainers & Instructional Design (TOT/ID) certified, with the potential to become a master TOT/ID trainer.

  • Conduct site training as needed. Examples include: Site On-Boarding, SHE training, Food Safety Training, Computer system training, ect.

  • Administer skill demonstrations, knowledge test and Job Qualifications.

  • Maintain site training records and participate in site audits.

  • Utilize ID framework to build new training and training material as needed by the site.

  • Update site training material and records in Workbook and SharePoint.

  • Maintain site TLM (The Learning Manager) system.

  • 100% adherence to all safety practices and quality assurance systems including ISO 9001 and ISO 22000.

  • Acts in compliance with all company policies including, but not limited to: Quality, Safety, Food/Feed Safety, Environmental, GMPs, and HACCP.

  • Responsible for adherence to all quality systems including, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 Food Safety and FAMI-QS with an understanding of DuPont/Danisco Corporate Quality policies and procedures.

  • SAP inputs/outputs.

  • Keeps a positive attitude and works through issues in a constructive manner.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • AAS/BS degree in a scientific/ technical field or HS Diploma with 2 or more years manufacturing experience.

  • Experience managing training systems and building training material a plus.

  • Basic computer skills required, experience with TLM, Workbook, SharePoint a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of training practices.

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Must be able to effectively prioritize, organize, and plan responsibilities to meet objectives.

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to work with a very interactive and self-directed group.

  • Highly motivated and Safety conscious.

WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Position will be a day shift with the potential for some off hours training.

  • May be required to stand while training multiple full day workshops/trainings.

  • Travel may be required to maintain training certification/leverage training best practices.
