Account Manager - Thermal Apparel (Job Number: 198071W-01)
The Military and Emergency Response Account Manager will be responsible for capturing untapped business opportunities in the Military, Law Enforcement and Emergency Response markets in Latin America. He/she will drive sales in order to reach the company’s goals.
Main tasks and Responsibilities
Ensure execution of DuPont LA Military and ER Strategy
Support Nomex® strategic partners to capture new commercial opportunities
Balance of rtech efforts to match regional demands and ensure Latin America is aligned with global innovations: close collaboration with Marketing and Global Segment Managers (i.e. Military or ER Marketing Managers)
Map current LA Police and Military forces, as well as Firefighter teams, to understand their current product portfolio, their needs and the main factor behind their purchasing decision
Identify unmet needs and partner with our strategic allies to develop Nomex(R)/Kevlar® products that can fill the gap
Responsible for full sales cycle (opportunity to sales close)
Responsible for prospecting accounts & growing existing clients
Responsible to achieve targets by driving account strategy
Develop and implement account plans and negotiate offerings.
Responsible for coordinating with cross functional teams (e.g. technical, supply chain & marketing) to provide service to client
Collaborate to manage cross-regional or global accounts
End user and associations influence management
English and Spanish - Fluent
Travel requirements: 70%-80% of travel across the LA region
