Corteva has an opening for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) located in Alphaville , SP. The Customer Service Representative is the interface between sales force and the business value chain partners to deliver exceptional service to our customers and drive profitability to Corteva. The Customer Service Representative provides solutions to the sales force and Customer while managing operational needs and collaborating closely with functional partners (Manufacturing, Marketing & Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.) to meet company objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Receives and processes the customer orders, inquiries, and/or complaints covering items or products ordered.

  • Proactively maintains an ongoing relationship with key customers and sales staff.

  • Partners with Sales and Marketing to build effective relationships with customers in order to anticipate and deliver expectations.

  • Records and processes orders and/or inquiries through Customer service work processes and systems.

  • Provides availability and schedule information within established guidelines and understands customer order patterns.

  • Differentiates between customer requirements and Dow capabilities; chooses the best/cost effective solution.

  • Checks credit and confirms orders.

  • Researches and obtains resolution of a variety of customer complaints and issues.

  • Tracks order activity, and alerts appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems. Expedites the delivery of selected orders.

  • Has an excellent working knowledge of SAP, Customer Relation Management and/or other internal systems required to perform the role.

  • Coaches others to provide innovative solutions for improvements using existing tool sets enabling work process and peer success.

  • Mentors peers/new employees on the use of metrics & reporting to set team and individual goals for account and business success.

  • Drives the corrective action resolution process to eliminate repeated defects and is empowered to act & resolve issues that support the account strategy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service related or sales experience

  • Proficiency in ERP SAP systems.

  • Understanding Order Receipt and Handling work processes.

  • Strong negotiation and sales skills

  • Thorough knowledge of respective work process and other integrated work processes, technologies, and applications (Order Receipt & Handling, Payment Receipt & Handling, Pricing, SAP, productivity and e-tools)./

  • Advanced English knowledge is preferred

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree

  • Discipline: Accounting, Finance, Business/Agro, Engineering background is preferred
