IT Site Leader - Brazil (Job Number: 196699W-01)



  • Managesthe IT infrastructure of the site(s) and all related informationtechnology services, including PC, printers, mobile devices and LANequipment.

  • Managesthe suppliers that provides support activities to sites for theorganization’s standard hardware, software and voice/data networksolutions.

  • Responsiblefor the renew, installation, and life-cycle management of PCs, servers,LAN network connectivity equipment and mobile devices.

  • Responsibleto maintain the asset inventory of all hardware, software and applicationsat each site, keeping the controls up to date and managing the process todiscard old equipment per the company guidelines.

  • Asappropriate, provides escalated on-site support of hardware, software andnetwork connectivity issues.

  • Responsibleto test and activate, when request, the site IT disaster recovery plan.

  • Acts asthe primary point of communication between IT&P and the site(s)operating, business and functional units.

  • Managesand deploys IT projects locally in alignment with global teams.

  • Performslocal administration and IT operations activities as appropriate inaccordance with standards, policies, procedure and audit recommendations.

· May coordinate and direct the activities of volunteers and staff (key users) in cross-organizational and cross-functional teams.

· Manages on site IT vendors service delivery, metrics, contracts and invoices and its payments, acting as IT contract administrator.

· Responsible to keep and track technical site documentation


  • In cooperation withIT&P domain leaders, local operations staff and key users, providesstrategic, budgeting and disaster recovery/business continuity planning tosites and staff in multiple operating, business and functional units.

  • Responsible for localinventory maintenance and local software license management.

  • Monitors securitycompliance in accordance with IT&P standards, policies and procedures.

  • Responsible formaintenance of systems documentation such as IT&P operations manuals.

  • Serves as the technicaland communications liaison to and from stakeholders and office key usersfor IT&P communications, initiatives, needs assessments, etc.

  • Responsible forprocurement, installation and life-cycle maintenance of IT hardware andsoftware (includes PCs, peripherals, servers, networking equipment,operating systems, local services and other software, following the LOA(Limit of authority).

  • Provides new staff withPC/account and mobile devices setup and orientation.

  • Provides escalatedtechnical support that requires an on-site presence (server, NAS, networkor PC equipment failure), including data backup recovery. Ensure theexecution of complex software/hardware troubleshooting, patches andre-installations in cooperation with the Enterprise Helpdesk, globalvendors and local vendors,in accordance with established SLAs.

  • Coordinateconsulting/training/education services such as data management and stafftraining/orientation for standard systems.

  • Serves as the IT pointof contact and is accountable forthe IT portion of new office setups, office expansions, etc. This includesrelocation and/or installation of voice/data communications solutions, LANand PC equipment.

  • Responsible for local ITvendor, contract and outsourcing management.

  • Responsible formonitoring data backups in offices to ensure that they are completed on aregular basis.

  • Other duties asassigned.



  • Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science or related areas.

  • Experience in IT infrastructure telecommunications, network or/andservers.

  • Professionalcertifications as appropriate.

  • Knowledge of currenttrends in the fields of Telecommunications and cloud services.

  • Demonstrated experiencewith standard software applications, including MS Office, Windows.

  • Must have a strongdedication to customer service.


· Fluency in English is a requirement

· Spanish is preferred
