China Tax Center Leader (Job Number: 194684W-01)

Description

  • Manage the day to day taxoperations of the team, drive operational compliance and efficiency

  • Solid organizational skills,follow-up, and high attention to tax/financial details

  • Monitor and adjust workloadacross center team member to maximize throughput

  • Maintain good relationship anddaily communication with local tax authority and address queries from taxauthority and frequently update tax manager

  • Builds and manages workingschedules to meet global tax centering strategy and identify tax risk andopportunities as well as look into the relevant tax reports.

  • Works to ensure seamlesstransitions within tax team and to /from the site finance and other teamsfor any tax audits/projects/ exposures/ opportunities noticed.

  • Responsible for SOX complianceand signing off on the Internal and SOX controls.

  • Work closely with the linemanager, local tax authorities to ensure compliance of tax laws.

Qualifications

  • University graduate orequivalent, major in tax/accounting preferred

  • Minimum 5-8 years financialaccounting experience specifically in the tax area withmulti-international manufacturing company.

  • Minimum 3-5 years operationalmanagement: Managing the team size of 10 to 15 people, adherence toschedule, including all HR related issues, as well as staff development

  • Demonstrated strong networking,interpersonal skills and professionalism to deal with all levels ofmanagement, personnel and business representatives

  • Demonstrated strong changemanagement skills

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills combined with a good working knowledge of tax andaccounting.

  • Strong communication/coordination skills and team-work spirit.

  • Good at spoken and writtenEnglish

  • Familiar with use of SAP,Excel, Word, GCAP.
