Distribution Requirements Planner (Job Number: 193288W-01)

Description

Utilize the SKU (product by location) level demand forecasts and orders to generate the replenishment plans to control the physical distribution of the right finished product to the right location at the right time in the right quantity to meet the target customer service levels while maintaining the minimum inventory levels and cost to serve.

l Analyze demand during lead time (daily) (ddlt), identify abnormal demand patterns, and verify causes with the demand team and agree to actions

l Determine the SKU inventory levels by warehouse to support the desired level of customer service while minimizing Variable FPDE and inventory (cost to serve)

l Communicate the distribution plan in order to ensure the Distribution Requirements Specialist enters accurate STOs in ERP(SAP) system and take corrective actions where needed

l Execute the SKU phase in/phase out plans with the Business Supply Chains and Product Management

l Maintains and coordinates the relationship between Master Planner, Logistics Specialist, and Demand Planner to ensure integration and alignment with the distribution plan

l Ensure S&OP(DIBM) plan aligns with logistics capabilities, both transportation and warehousing, and work with Master Planner to resolve any potential gaps

l Work with data team to validate and update all data for the logistics network (based on data team's update process)

l Monitor, analyze, and propose corrective action to defined metrics

l Analyze customer SKU order demand patterns, collaborate with the demand/marketing/product manager to validate the forecast of demand for each SKU

l Manage NPI and work with relational functional people to find outlet or propose write off.

Qualifications

l
Bachelor degree or above preferably in supply chain or international trade

l 5-7 years experience in supply chain and SAP competency role or equivalent

l Familiar with SAP – APO – BW

l Proactive and be able to work under pressure

l Well organized and good documentation skills

l Good English skills including speaking and writing

l Strong interpersonal and communication skills

l Strong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

l APICS CPIM certification preferred

l Six Sigma green belt certification preferred
