Position Purpose:

The Towanda Electronics and Imaging site prides itself in being seen in the eyes of our customers as the highest quality, best performing and most responsive film coating supplier. Our Customers demand high quality products. The Quality Management System (QMS) Leader will ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001:2015 and regulatory/legal requirements. The QMS Leader will collaborate with the site leadership and business leadership to ensure compliance and identify and drive continual improvement of the QMS.

Brief Position Description :

The job scope includes refining the existing Towanda site quality management system through improvement projects based on analysis of internal (process and internal audit feedback), external (customer complaints/feedback and 3 rd party audit) data. This role will work with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, laboratory, the business team and quality personnel to advance processes that increase customer focus to meet requirements. The person will collaborate with the Electronics and Imaging Leveraged Quality Team, the Global Quality Strategy Leader, Site and Global Engineering Sciences Leaders, and the Business Leader to achieve business and quality objectives. The candidate will be accountable for site compliance to the ISO 9001:2015 International Quality Standard.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Develop and lead the site’s strategic quality objectives with input from Operations, the Global Quality Strategy Leader, Sales and Marketing leaders, business managers, R&D, technology leaders and customers

· Manage the 3 rd party Quality certification program to increase the demonstrated level of Quality compliance and superiority in the Marketplace

· Maintain quality certifications such as ISO9001 and any customer specific certifications

· Ensure site adherence to ISO9001 Standard and the underlying quality principles

· Implement, maintain, and drive continual improvement of the site quality management system

· Monitor and analyze QMS processes through internal audits, performance reviews, and networking to deliver improvements. These improvements should create positive customer/business impact

· Influence leadership to support Quality initiatives; ensure top leadership engagement in the quality management system

· Develop and review quality performance indicators and drive/recommend organizational improvement programs for product, processes and procedures

· Operationalize E&I QMS processes for simplicity and to support business initiative to standardize and leverage best practices for improved efficiency and effectiveness

· Coordinate communication of the quality policy, quality principles, and quality performance within the site

· Provide effective quality related awareness education, training and support as necessary

· Ensure the corrective and preventative action systems are used to satisfy customers and promote improvements

· Lead organizational response to critical quality issues. Interact as needed with customers, both proactively and reactively, to demonstrate quality commitment

· Coordinate and lead all aspects of internal, external 3 rd party, and customer audits

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors (or higher) degree in Engineering/Technicaldiscipline OR 5 years (min.) experience in the Quality field in an industrialor manufacturing environment

  • Applied knowledge and experience working withQuality Management System requirements such ISO9001, IATF16949, AS9100, or ISO17025

  • Practical quality system auditing experience

  • Quality training experience

  • Demonstrated strong networking, interpersonalskills and professionalism to deal with all levels of management, personnel,customers and business representatives

  • Ability to create a cooperative, safe andproductive work environment that seeks input from all employees

  • Ability to engage, develop and lead work groupsto facilitate accomplishment of goals

  • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasksand objectives as well as take on additional roles to meet business needs; mustbe able to manage a diverse workload, perceive needs of others, remain adaptable

  • Effective planning, organizing andpriority-setting skills

  • Must possess strong analytical thinking skillsand use formal problem-solving techniques and data analysis to determine rootcause and reach solutions.

  • Must be able to work independently andrepresent DuPont externally

Preferred Attributes:

  • 3-5 years supervisory or managerial experience

  • ASQ Quality Engineer (or other) Certification

  • Six Sigma Green belt (or higher) certification

  • Demonstrated knowledge in statistical processcontrol and application of Statistical Process Control in plant and laboratoryenvironments

  • Experience interfacing with Customer on qualityand/or technical issues

  • Strong computer skills including experience withSAP, EtQ, and SFDC

  • Ability to interpret data, diagnose problems,and initiate actions to prevent recurrence

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
