Maintenance Coordinator (Job Number: 192596W-01)
DuPont is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to coordinate the production requirements with Maintenance and Engineering organizations in a way that insures equipment is available to meet production demands, maintenance and/or capital requirements to optimize total business cost (production capacity, maintenance cost, finished product distribution expense, fixed, MRO inventory cost, etc). The position is located at the Washington Works plant in Washington, WV .
The Maintenance Coordinator owns the Asset Care Scheduling process. They need to understand the desires of the production schedule and the windows for maintenance and capital activities to occur. The Maintenance Coordinator needs to understand the production organization job steps (decommissioning, lockout, and recommissioning) plus the maintenance and capital work execution steps to ensure integration to minimize cost and production downtime. Once this role understands the requirements, then they coordinate/negotiate with all stakeholders to attain the best Business solution.
Responsible to integrate the Maintenance Work Management Process (WMP) into the production availability schedule.
Ensure regulatory PPM & PdM requirements to operate the asset(s) and production impact are completed on time.
Fill role of pressure vessel coordinator for area including ensuring all inspections are completed on time and all proper paperwork is correctly filed.
Ensure coordination of Capital work and understand the impact to the Production schedule.
Production representative that is a part of the MRO criticality assessment team that evaluates critical inventory availability to minimize production downtime.
To be qualified for this role the candidate must possess the following:
High school diploma or GED.
3 years of chemical manufacturing experience.
Understand, apply, and reinforce Site safety policies, procedures, and training as required.
Knowledge of utility equipment and production process (chemical, hazards, and unit operations).
Understand hazards, failure modes, and the complexity of various maintenance restoration techniques; effectively integrate the necessary time, skills, tools, materials, activities and sequence required to execute a scope of work into the scheduling process.
Ability to review and provide upgrades to written maintenance repair procedures and associated task lists to facilitate scheduling.
SAPPM Experience: Accurately execute SAP Transactions.
Leadership ability to achieve desired results.
Ability to provide timely guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill, and capable of leading teams to achieve desired results.
Good conflict resolution, communication and presentation skills (both oral and written).
Ability to develop and excel in a team environment.
Ability to utilize other software tools as appropriate; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote).
Understanding of RCFA methodology.
