Production Specialist (Job Number: 198310W-01)
The Production Specialist for Delrin Finishing is an operations leadership role supporting a Low Hazard process. This role does not have direct reports, however, is responsible for decision making and leadership for day to day process operations. This position routinely backs up the Area Manager.
General Description of job duties: This role will work very closely with the Area Manager
to ensure all Operations Metrics are met or exceeded.
Lead and Facilitate Area Safety Incident Investigations
Lead and Facilitate Quality/Reliability Incident Investigations
Lead Area Improvement (COT's)
Provide strategic direction for operations contractors
Lead and Facilitate Day Production Meetings
Attend Maintenance Planning Meeting
Coordination of Utilities/Waste Management with Chemours
Investigate Incidents / Variances / Customer Complaints (Conduct RCFA)
Enter ETQ / Variance / Problem Solving Reports
Auditing / Reporting for PSM, Title V, Regulatory Requirements
Asset Coordinator - Coordination with Functional Groups (Maintenance, Supply
Chain, Technical etc)
Measure/Monitor/Report Performance Metrics
Assist in Troubleshooting Operational Issues
Assist in Troubleshooting Logistics, Product Movement Issues
Create/Review SOPs, Quality Procedures as needed
Delegate Approval for MOC-F, MOC-T
Implement Minor FCRs as needed
Approve Contractor Timecards
Standards of Performance:
This role is accountable for all Operations metrics including SHE, Yield, Uptime, Cost, and Quality. Accountability is measured by meeting the PO for these metrics set by the business.
This role will be a mix of office and field time. Felt leadership presence on the floor will be required from this role. Daily safety audits will be required.
High School diploma and/or equivalent
3 years of Operations experience required
This role will require strong computer skills including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
This role requires knowledge of SAP and SAPPM.
This role requires ETQ and Agile1 experience
