Americas IT Leader & End User Experience – T&AP (Job Number: 197896W-01)


As a member of the Global Transportation & Advanced Polymers (T&AP) Information Technology & Processes (IT&P) Team, the role is responsible for supporting IT users in the Americas. The IT end user experience leader is the focal point of engagement and communication between Business Partners and the IT organization. This individual engages the Business Teams with short, intermediate, and longer term IT strategies and tactics to enhance Collaboration and End User Computing effectiveness.

This role will be located in Wilmington, Delaware, with routine travel, potentially a significant amount as DuPont and Dow integrate to create SpecCo.

Scope of Activities

  • Integrate the Collaboration & End User Computing IT Strategy and Plans with Business Strategy and Plans

  • Capture, Clarify, Prioritize & Drive Business Demand

  • Ensure Business Collaboration IT Projects meet the business requirements and satisfaction, represent business interest in the solution/services delivery and manage expectation in the business

  • Ensure current Collaboration IT Applications and Tool Suite meets business requirements and satisfaction.

  • Focus on developing and improving business processes

  • Assess organizational readiness and drive change management initiatives as solutions are introduced to the business

  • Build & Maintain Business Relationships

  • Be the Single Point of Contact for Collaboration & End User Computing IT initiatives

  • Share IT Direction & Strategy with Business or Region on enabling technologies

  • Share Business Americas Collaboration direction and strategies with Global Collaboration IT

  • Participate as active member on the Global Business Facing Collaboration Competency network to build overall knowledge of Business priorities and objectives.

  • Coordinate activities across Regions through effective relationships with the Site IT Leaders and Regional Execution Leaders.

  • Define, develop and drive ongoing IT&P Business Facing Communication Plan

  • Measure Business Satisfaction vs. DuPont IT Key Performance Indicators

  • Ensure compliance with business, compliance and Global IT standards

Additional Requirements:

Flexibility to travel – up to 50% as projects and go-lives demand

5-8 years of experience in IT environment (End User Computing & Training, Desktop OS and Apps, Networks, SAP)

Degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics is a plus

Security experience and certification as well as project management certification or equivalent experience are also plusses
