DuPont is currently seeking an experienced benefits professional to fill a vendor management role in their HR Shared Services Center. This role will be responsible for managing several vendors in the Benefits Delivery team, but with a specialized focus on the management of our outsourced Benefits Administrator. The vendor manager for this position will also serve as the lead project manager for DuPont’s Annual Enrollment period for employee benefits. This role will also have additional responsibilities for managing the relationships with our external claims audit vendor and service awards vendor. This is an individual contributor role working within a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Proactively works with vendor(s) to drive improvements that result in cost reduction, increase accuracy, and positive employee experiences
Establishes and leads vendor performance program that includes vendor metrics, key performance indicators and analysis, scorecards and formal business reviews.
Oversees vendors’ project execution and performance, ensuring delivery by vendors meets expectations and is appropriately integrated in a complex multi-vendor environment
Proactively works with vendors and DuPont Global Rewards personnel to assess potential impact of business decisions and legal changes, in advance, on stakeholders and also develops, gains approval, communicates and executes associated action plans
Works with DuPont Sourcing and Legal organization to review and amend contract documents, including service level exhibits and statements of work
Develops, implements, and drives compliance of DuPont vendor management, sourcing, change request and financial processes in this work
Supports internal and external audit of vendor and their services, while ensuring control environment meets our standards
Tracks Company spend on each vendor against established budget and manage financial aspects of requisitions/commitment
Bachelor’s Degree in Business management, Human Resources management, Financial management, or other related fields
Minimum 5 years of experience in an employee benefits related vendor management role
Minimum 2 years of experience in large-scale health and welfare benefits projects (i.e. implementations, annual enrollments, etc.) as a project manager
Experience in vendor management of a benefits administrator in an outsourced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Advance proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access)
Superior organizational skills, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
Experience with employee service award and recognition programs
Experience with external claims audits
Proficiency in MS Access
Superior organizational skills, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines – required
Experience with HRIS, Benefits Administration and/or Payroll systems (i.e. SAP, Workday) --preferred
