DuPont is currently seeking an Income Tax Accounting Senior Analyst in our Finance Department. This position is a growth opportunity within the Finance competency related to the Company’s intended separation of its agriculture and specialty products businesses.

This position is located in Wilmington, DE and has the following duties:

  • Quarterlyclosing responsibilities in the area of income tax accounting includingpreparation and analysis of global effective tax rate model utilizingOneSource Tax Provision software in accordance with the relevant US GAAP,SEC, and other authoritative guidance related to accounting for incometaxes;

  • Reviewand/or preparation of schedules and memorandums in support of global tax accountingmatters such as valuation allowances, unremitted earnings, and othertechnical tax accounting matters;

  • Preparation/coordinationof consolidated U.S. Federal provision-to-return true up adjustments inOneSource software and supporting schedules, involving close interactionwith the domestic tax compliance team; and

  • Preparationand analysis of certain income tax components of the Company’s quarterly SECfinancial statements.

Job Qualifications

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting orfinance with strong academic performance;

  • 7-10 years of experience withCorporate income tax in public accounting or a corporate tax environment;

  • Technical expertise in the area ofASC 740 involving both domestic and international operations, as well as anunderstanding of the proper application of special areas such as interim taxreporting, intra-period tax allocation, carve-out financial statements, purchaseaccounting, outside basis differences, valuation allowances, and uncertainty inincome taxes;

  • Demonstrated ability to effectivelymanage multiple priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environment;

  • Highly efficient, organized,reliable, and resourceful professional with practical experience and ability tounderstand process and implement change;

  • Ability to perform complex taxresearch and analysis and effectively communicate results in the form ofdiscussion, presentation, or technical memorandum;

  • Strong oral, written, andinterpersonal skills;

  • Strong IT skills (specificallyMicrosoft Excel) and experience with SAP, OneSource Tax software a plus.
