DuPont is currently seeking an Income Tax Accounting Senior Analyst in our Finance Department. This position is a growth opportunity within the Finance competency related to the Company’s intended separation of its agriculture and specialty products businesses.

This position is located in Wilmington, DE and has the following duties:

  • Quarterly closing responsibilities in the area of income tax accounting including preparation and analysis of global effective tax rate model utilizing OneSource Tax Provision software in accordance with the relevant US GAAP, SEC, and other authoritative guidance related to accounting for income taxes;

  • Review and/or preparation of schedules and memorandums in support of global tax accounting matters such as valuation allowances, unremitted earnings, and other technical tax accounting matters;

  • Preparation/coordination of consolidated U.S. Federal provision-to-return true up adjustments in OneSource software and supporting schedules, involving close interaction with the domestic tax compliance team; and

  • Preparation and analysis of certain income tax components of the Company’s quarterly SEC financial statements.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with strong academic performance;

  • 5+ years of experience with Corporate income tax in public accounting or a corporate tax environment;

  • Technical expertise in the area of ASC 740 involving both domestic and international operations, as well as an understanding of the proper application of special areas such as interim tax reporting, intra-period tax allocation, carve-out financial statements, purchase accounting, outside basis differences, valuation allowances, and uncertainty in income taxes;

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environment;

  • Highly efficient, organized, reliable, and resourceful professional with practical experience and ability to understand process and implement change;

  • Ability to perform complex tax research and analysis and effectively communicate results in the form of discussion, presentation, or technical memorandum;

  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills;

  • Strong IT skills (specifically Microsoft Excel) and experience with SAP, OneSource Tax software a plus.
