The Program Manager for the Manufacturing Center of Excellence (CoE) is a leadership role in the Specialty Products Division Leveraged Operations and Risk Management organization. This position leads a collaborative, global, multi-competency team of subject matter experts providing direct support to manufacturing sites in the areas of Continuous Improvement methods and approaches (Lean and Six-Sigma, Production and Operational Excellence systems, and Change Management).

Primary Responsibilities

  • To drive and transfer ContinuousImprovement (CI) strategies, direction and standards to achieve OperationalExcellence (OPEX) across our manufacturing assets. In a way that:

  • Collaborates with BusinessOPEX Leaders, Plant Leaders, and other key stakeholders for an integratedapproach

  • Simplifies andStandardizes CI Processes

  • Identifies and transfersBest Practices

  • Improves CI Capabilities(Training and Development)

  • Equips leaders to engageemployees and embrace change

  • Assesses compliance andprogress

So that the organization is adaptable and flexible and businesses improve productivity and SHE performance resulting in competitive advantage.

Leadership role on the OPEX CoE Leadership Team, and Reliability Centered Production System (RCP$) Core Team.

Qualifications

  • Successful Operations experience, preferably Unit orPlant Manager experience.

  • Strong technical background - Science or Engineering degree.

  • Ability to build strong relationships within IntegratedOperations and manage by influence.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver business resultsthrough Continuous Improvement methods (i.e.DuPont Production System, LeanSix-Sigma)

  • Understanding and experience in the practical applicationof change management methods

  • Demonstrated ability to express thoughts, feelings, andideas in a clear, succinct, and compelling manner in both individual andgroup situations; adjusting language to capture the attention of theaudience.

  • Six Sigma Green Beltcertification.

  • Role may require travel up to 50% of the time.
