The DuPont Company has an opportunity for a Global Strategic Planning Manager - Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials (PVAM) in the Electronics & Imaging (E&I) business. PVAM is a dynamic growth business focused on delivering innovative solutions in the Photovoltaic, Electronics, Transportation and Construction markets. The Global Strategic Planning Manager will lead strategic planning efforts across PVAM which includes supporting the strategy and execution reviews during the annual planning cycle, managing the PVAM business processes and exploring significant new business opportunities. This role reports to the PVAM Global Business Director and is a member of the Global Leadership Team supporting a billion $ business.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Interacts with business leadership and key stakeholders to establish strategic objectives and plans.

  • Consults with functional leaders to clarify and align strategic requirements, budgets, and business cases.

  • Creates and delivers presentations on strategic goals and plans.

  • Evaluates acquisition, partnership and divestiture opportunities.

  • Owns business management processes and drives continuous improvement and simplification

  • Participates in growth project sponsorship and drives cross business collaboration consist with long term business objectives

  • Acts as business liaison to E&I while collecting, assimilating and reports key business information as requested

  • May be independently called upon to manage projects and initiatives.


In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field.

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in strategic planning, sales and marketing, business development, or market and business analysis.

  • Proven project management skills and experience.

  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills and ability to plan, execute and manage.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate to senior leaders, peers, and stakeholders.

  • Influence and collaboration skills and ability to consult with senior leaders in the organization.

  • Ability to work across the company and business, forming effective partnerships.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, meet deadlines, and work efficiently and independently in a timely manner.

  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent, complex assignments while ensuring alignment with shifting priorities.

  • Ability to gain insights and drive recommendations through data analysis.

  • Ability to balance short- and long-term objectives while maintaining a big picture view.

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

  • MBA preferred
